System architecture and requirements / Workstation requirements

Workstation requirements

ELMA365 is based on a client-server interaction model. Users work with the system remotely via a local area network or the Internet. No client software is required to connect to the ELMA365 server, as users work with the system directly in a web browser. In addition, a classic desktop application is available for Windows and macOS, which allows users to get notifications even if the web browser is closed.

Supported browsers

The following browsers are supported by all the editions of SaaS and On-Premises:

  • Google Chrome;
  • Microsoft Edge;
  • Firefox* ;
  • Opera;
  • Yandex Browser
  • Safari for macOS and iOS
  • Android Browser (two latest versions)

*Working in incognito mode in the Firefox browser is not possible, as Firefox does not support IndexedDB in this mode.

For the system to function correctly, it is recommended to use a browser version released within the last two years.
