ELMA365 is based on a client-server model. Users interact with the system remotely through a local area network or the Internet. No client software is required to connect ELMA365, as users work with the system directly in the web browser. In addition, a classic desktop application is available for macOS and Windows, which allows users to get notifications even if the web browser is closed.

The following browsers are supported by all the editions of SaaS and On-premises:
- Google Chrome (version >= 67.0)
- Firefox (version >= to 60.0)
- Opera (version >= 54.0)
- Safari for macOS and iOS (version >= 11.0)
- Android Browser ( the 2 latest versions)
ELMA365 desktop application
The users can also work in ELMA365 through a desktop application. See the system requirements below:
