When you have added and arranged all the tasks in your project plan, click Save in the top toolbar to create a Draft of the plan.
After that, the name of the project, the number of the current version of the plan, creation date and status will be displayed below the Gantt chart.
If your draft is ready, click Publish. The plan's status will change to Published. The Task and Milestone tasks will be assigned to users. The users will see them on the project page in the My Project Tasks widget.
You can edit the plan any time you like.
When you have introduced changes into a previously created project plan you can compare it to the original published version. Click on the gear icon beneath the chart and enable the Compare with the current one option. The outlines of the original plan will be shown in the chart.
