This widget allows you to edit and download files from a page, a task page or an app item’s form.
The Edit button appears on the object’s form if you have a subscription to Microsoft Office 365 and the Use Office 365 to work with files option is enabled in the Administration > Files.
Only the users with the Edit access rights could change the documents using Office365.
If you enable the Print form option in an app, the additional Print button becomes available. It allows you to print or download a file with a watermark.
To configure the widget, drag it from the side panel to the upper panel of the creation form or use the +Widget button. In the opened window enter the settings.
- File*. Click the <Not defined> link and select the File type context variable from the list.
System settings are the same for all the widgets. They are used to configure a widget’s visibility and access to its data, define what happens, when the user moves or hovers the pointer over a widget area, etc. Find out more in the System widget settings article.
To finish the configuration, click Save and Publish.
