Access Settings in the CRM Workspace

QuickBPM provides flexible access settings for deals and pipelines. You can select a user group, organizational chart item or certain people and define available actions for each of them. For example, sales reps can create, edit or delete deals whereas other employees can only view them.

To manage access settings, click on the gear icon to the right of the app's name and select Access Settings. Please note that all pipelines belong to one app – Deals. This means that the same access settings apply to all of them.

There are two ways to restrict access to app items:


  1. Restrict access to app. If you select this option, the same access settings will be applied to all pipelines. For example, sales reps will be able to create and edit deals but only the head of the sales department will be able to delete them.


  1. Restrict access to app items. If you select this option, access permissions will be configured individually for each deal. For example, when creating a new deal, a sales rep will be able to give their superior access to this deal. At the same time, he or she will not have access to the deals created by other employees.

You can also manage visibility – determine which users can view deals and pipelines in the left menu. That way you can hide them from employees which don’t work with sales directly.  At the same time, if access to a certain deal is configured for such employees, they will be able to open it using the link.
