ELMA365 update: duplicate scoring, new chat options, a new tool for sales departments, etc.'
A new 2021.4.1. version of ELMA365 has been released. We believe that simplicity and convenience reside in details, so here are the most anticipated features of ELMA365.
In our latest release, we have improved the user experience in numerous ways: improving the CRM workspace, AD/LDAP integration, search functionality, filters, messages and apps. Read on to find out more.
CRM
Duplicates
We released the duplicate scoring functionality to keep your records clean and free of duplicates and make your sales team faster and more efficient. You can use the feature to work not only with deals and contractors but with any app, for example, a stock list.
A new “Duplicates” widget can be added to any app page. It displays information about the records in the system that look similar.
Handling duplicates
First of all, you have to enable the duplicate setting for the selected app and configure matching rules.
Add the “Duplicates” widget to the app form to see the duplicate search results.
The found matches will be displayed. You can mark the record as a duplicate or merge the matches. A duplicated record gets the corresponding status and doesn’t come up in the data lists.
If ELMA365 can’t recognize duplicates, you can add a duplicate manually and update the existing record. ELMA365 checks duplicates when you save the app item. You can also set up searching for duplicates on schedule or run it manually.
CRM tasks for the sales department
We featured a new tool for a sales team. It visually separates tasks related to deals from other tasks. This way, sales reps can keep track of tasks even easier.
“CRM Tasks” subsection includes such tasks as “Calls”, “Meetings”, “Webinars”, and “Emails”.
To plan everyday tasks, switch to Kanban board. The tasks will be arranged by dates. The “Earlier” column displays the overdue tasks.
Also:
- We improved handling of incoming calls. Now, when taking a call, a sales rep will see a related company or deal record. If the number is not in the database, the sales rep will see the form for adding a new contact and a deal.
- Now you can configure a table to display deals on “All” and “New” pages. You can add additional columns to the table to make it more informative.
- After a call is finished, you can add comments to the deal card or the contact card.
- Now you can move deals with the “New” status between pipelines if there is a person responsible for a deal or move the deal to another pipeline without assigning a responsible user.
- A new “Pipeline” widget was added. When creating a deal, you can select a pipeline for it straightaway.
Integrations
AD/LDAP
When setting up the integration with AD/LDAP, for your convenience, you can use the default port (389), if it’s not specified in the “Server address” field. This way, importing users without specifying a port won’t result in an error.
Search and filters
To make working with applications more convenient, we featured an opportunity to pin filters in applications. Now you can pin popular filters, rather than setting them up manually over and over again.
If a filter is pinned, it is applied automatically when you open an app.
Filters may be pinned by all users.
- If the filter is pinned by the administrator, it is applied to all users by default.
- Any user can unpin the administrator’s filter and pin their own. This way, the filter will be applied to this user only.
- Note that the administrator can’t pin a personal filter yet.
Messages
Marking messages as unread
Now you can mark messages as unread in chats. You can do that using the context menu:
All the later messages will be marked as unread.
Application
App-related business process
We made it easier to manage app-related processes, in other words, a process that starts after saving an app item.
- The first app process that you publish is still automatically linked to the Save button.
- The “Start after saving app item” checkbox was removed from the process settings.
- You can now link a process to an app on the “Business processes” page.
- An icon appears next to the process related to an app.
- You can link another process in the context menu:
- If the process is already linked to an app, you can unlink it using the context menu. This way, no process will be started after creating an app item.
